Arriving with virtual store concept, PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk (Alfamart) offering new alternatives to community who is willing to become an entrepreneur in an easy and with an affordable capital. Through Alfamind, the first virtual store can be accessed from anywhere even from smartphone/tablet.
“Alfamind is supported by 3d Augmented Reality-Virtual Reality (AR-VR) technology from Mindstores, which can give sensation of shopping just like in real stores so that it can market their product in a more attractive and fun way. It is a proactive system, like bringing stores in front of consumers,” said Mr Hans Prawira, Alfamart President Director.
Hans said, according to one of the vision that this company want to be owned by community and have orientation toward small entrepreneur empowerment, even housewives, who want to earn extra income as the owner of virtual store, with only paying Rp 1 million.
“Initial capital is a saved balance of store owner. When store owner sells a commodity, they will accept cash from consumer while their balance is deducted automatically. And so on, they can top up their balance,” he explained.

Once registered, store owner will receive member card which will be scanned to access the virtual store.
Moreover Hans explains, as of now Alfamind has operated and owned by hundreds of store owners, whereas most of the products marketed are supplied from Small and Middle Micro business (UMKM) across several districts in Indonesia.
Even with minimum capital, Hans continues, store owner can get many benefits such as sales margin, point rewards, easy access anytime anywhere, and free intricate operation because the whole system runs by Alfamart.
During Alfamind soft launch event, on Thursday (23/6/2016), the company received award certificate from Museum Rekor Indonesia (MURI) for becoming the first 3D Virtual Retail Store in Indonesia, awarded directly by Mr Jaya Suprana as MURI founder.
